Web Project Manager (Senior/Junior)

Job Duties:

  • Lead and manage localization of our customers websites;
  • Pre-sales: understanding of customer issues and needs, cost estimation, scope definition;
  • Technical consulting and watch on trending web technologies;
  • Project planning and client communication.


  • Work independently or lead small technical teams to evaluate client web platform and deliver high quality solutions. This includes, but is not limited to, evaluation customer Content Management System and publishing processes, web application architecture, security requirements, and provide recommendations for a custom solution that meets client business and technical requirements;
  • Work closely with our customers and sales team to implement and manage technical suggestions, study technical feasibility and set accurate expectations on effort and timelines for delivery. Act as main point of contact for the customer for all technical issues and project deliverables;
  • Create and be responsible for project planning including timelines and workload estimation. Establish project KPIs and track them to provide reporting to the management team;
  • Participate in internal projects that will help scale the Group, implement best practices and improve Datawords’ methodology and delivery quality;
  • Support and train customer technical teams;
  • Occasional travel to different region might be required (Philippines, HK, Japan, Korea, Paris…).


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Telecommunication/Computer Science or relevant technical field experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of related professional experience
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: HTML/CSS, JS, PHP, Java
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Korean
  • Team player, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure

Preferred skills:

  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with global CMS like Demandware (SFCC), Hybris, Magento, Adobe AEM, Hybris, Drupal, WordPress
  • Experience (work or studies) in a foreign country

  • The salary is to be discussed within the range of Datawords internal salary policy (higher range compared to the other agencies in the same industry)
  • Meal allowance is KRW 150 000 KRW / month
