Linguistic Project Coordinator - Japanese Team 

Japanese Native-Speaker Level Required

 

For one of our major key accounts, specialized in the field of fashion, Datawords is seeking a new team member for the position of Linguistic Project Coordinator.

Reporting to the Main Linguistic Project Manager based in Italy, you will work in international environment being in charge of the coordination of the production in our French office: 

  • Training and quality follow-up of the linguistic service-providers involved in the project,
  • Linguistic Project Management: translation dispatch, timelines and quality follow-up,
  • Proofreading, rewriting, and individual feedbacks to the service-providers,
  • Translation Memories and Term Bases management.

 

Requirements:

  • Working languages: native level in Japanese, English skills as high as TOEIC 850 or more,
  • Good editorial skills in Japanese and knowledge of the fashion field,
  • Excellent knowledge of office tools (office suite) required, computer savvy,
  • Great adaptability: appreciation for a young and multicultural work environment,
  • Strong work ethic, team player, dedicated to see challenging projects through to completion.

 

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Trados or other CAT tools will be a plus.
  • Prior experience in translation industry is preferred.

 

Conditions:

  • Job based in Levallois-Perret, France (Paris, metro line 3), vacancy starting ASAP
  • Full-time position, 35h a week
  • 1-year fixed term contract (with possible extension to a long term contract)
  • Salary depending on experience
