Role Summary: We are in search of an experienced Senior Video Editor with expertise in Video editing, motion design, color grading, 3D animation and has a creative background. This critical role involves leading a talented Video team of Datawords Philippines in handling complex and creative projects for our international luxury brands customers. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical skills, visual and creative talent, managerial experience, and a performance-driven approach, all aimed at fostering a culture of excellence and expansion within our dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the video team, establishing KPIs, objectives, and maintaining high performance levels,
  • To lead the video production of Datawords Philippines working on various projects: video editing, formatting, localization, Motion design and creative adaptation,
  • To train, upskill and mentor the team to handle more complex and creative projects,
  • To train and upskill the team in utilizing the advanced features of video editing tools, stay up to date with video editing trends,
  • To develop partnership with entities of Datawords Group,
  • Ensure videos meet the client's specifications and guidelines,
  • Coordinate global projects, programs, and policies both within the organization and with international counterparts,
  • Foster the growth of accounts and strengthen customer connections and expand business avenues within the creative team,
  • Foster a culture of constant innovation where team members are encouraged to suggest and test new ideas to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure transparent and ongoing communication about the vision, values, and objectives of the company, reinforcing team engagement and motivation in a changing environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Has at least 8 years of experience in video editing,
  • Experience working in an international company or working for global brands,
  • Experience in conflict management and client-facing,
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects), Final Cut Pro and Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Proficiency in video editing, motion design, video color grading, and design principles,
  • Preferably with experience in video SFX, and 3D animation,
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a creative team, define roadmaps, and establish KPIs,
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, with a leadership style that marries empathy with decision-making,
  • High attention to detail with visual and creative talent.
