Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Content Manager to join our Hong Kong office to manage the overall coordination and the quality of linguistic projects in marketing field for our major clients specialized in luxury, fashion and lifestyle industries. Working closely with our Project Managers, linguistic resources and clients, you will ensure the efficiency of all production steps, the conformity of deliverables with high editorial standards and the adaptation of our processes to our clients’ needs and expectations.       

Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager of the Multilingual Team, you will:

  • Perform translation and quality control of Traditional Chinese projects according to project briefs and clients’ guidelines including but not limited to the style, tone of voice and terminology
  • Manage, plan, and allocate resources for digital projects, e.g. Web content localization, SEO-oriented translation
  • Coordinate projects by liaising with clients, Project Managers, freelancers and other production teams
  • Manage linguistic assets: Translation memories, Terminology, SEO glossaries
  • Develop and manage the pool of freelance translators and proofreaders

Requirements:

  • Translation or copy-editing background in marketing field with excellent writing skills. Good knowledge of luxury industry will be a plus. Fresh graduates welcome.
  • Experience in linguistic project management preferred: understanding of digital multilingual production (Web localization, SEO), anticipation of risks, project modeling and follow-up, mastering budget
  • Great adaptability: appreciation for a young and multicultural work environment
  • Strong work ethic, team player, dedicated to see challenging projects through to completion
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Working languages: native in Traditional Chinese, excellent command of English; proficiency in another language (e.g. French, German, etc.) will be an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of office tools (office suite) required, computer savvy
  • Experience with Trados is a plus
